Delete your Goose account
Two ways to do it, and both delete the same things.
From inside the app
Open Goose, go to Settings, then tap Delete account and confirm. The deletion runs right then. There is no waiting period and no email loop.
By email, if you already uninstalled
Write to admin@gooseapp.ai from the email address you signed up with, and say you want the account deleted. We match the address to the account and delete it. If you write from a different address we have no way to tell it is your account, so we will ask you to send it again from the right one.
What gets deleted
Your sign-in, your profile and the first names you gave Goose, every conversation with Goose, the notes Goose kept about your relationship, any calendar connection, and your push tokens. The delete cascades across every table that holds your data. Residual copies in encrypted backups age out within 30 days.
What we keep
Payment and tax records, for as long as the law requires us to hold them. Those are transaction records held by our payment processor. They do not contain anything you told Goose.
If you have an active subscription
Deleting the account does not refund a term you already paid for. Cancel from Settings first if you want to stop the next renewal, then delete. Questions about a charge go to support.
