A private wingman.
Privacy in plain English
The short version of how Goose handles your information. The formal privacy policy is the legally binding document. This page is the same story without the legal vocabulary.
What we collect
- Your email address, so you can sign in.
- Your first name and your partner's first name, for context.
- Notes you write or paste in about your relationship.
- Calendar events you choose to connect.
What we do not collect
- Last names. Yours or anyone else's.
- Your partner's email, phone number, or address.
- Your text messages. Goose has no access to your messaging apps.
- Health data, financial data, or location data.
What happens to messages you share
When you paste a screenshot or a piece of text into Goose for context, Goose reads it, takes the substance, and discards the raw text within 24 hours. Long verbatim quotes are never stored. That last sentence is the one to remember; it's the whole posture.
Who can see your data
You can. The infrastructure providers we use to run the service can, under standard data-processing agreements. Nobody at GooseApp LLC reads your notes for any reason other than a support request you start.
How to delete everything
Open Settings in the app and tap Delete Account. Everything goes, including any notes about your partner, within seven days. No retention loophole, no shadow copy.
For the formal version, see the Privacy Policy.
